Flagstone patios are a great way to create a natural feel to your outdoor living space. All of our flagstone patios are made using natural stone in earthy blue, gray, and red tones. Flagstones have a natural textured surface that is extremely durable. We love that every flagstone patio is unique since they’re natural stone.
Flagstone can installed two ways: a loose cut style, or a tight cut style.
Loose cut patios are laid by hand, leaving 2-4 inches of space between each piece. This allows the natural shape of each flagstone to shine. The patio is completed by filling the gaps with mulch, rock or planting ground cover that fills in around the stone.
Tight cut patios are also laid by hand, but each piece is cut onsite to fit the piece next to it like a puzzle. They are more labor intensive to install, but there are no gaps between the stones, leaving a smooth finish void of mulch or creeping plants.
You can also use flagstone in conjunction with materials like pavers, bricks, or concrete for a more varied look — what you choose comes down to your preferences. We’ll work with you to create the backyard patio you’ve always dreamed of.
