What’s It Like to Work With Us?
If you’ve never done a project in partnership with Capital Landscaping, we’d like to walk you through the process. Once you are ready to get started contact us to speak with one of our landscape designers or architects, depending on the type of project you’re pursuing.
We’ll set up a meeting to discuss the project details, along with the design style and the elements you’d like to include. Possibilities may include a paver or flagstone patio, a fire pit, a water feature, an outdoor kitchen, or a pergola. If you have any inspiration photos, please feel free to share them with us. This will give your designer a glimpse into your personal style.
The next step is for our staff to come look at your space. Seeing it in person shows them the current situation, and helps them visualize the possibilities of the future. After the scope of work and budget are decided, it will take 1-2 weeks for our designers to create a 3D schematic graphic. 3D visuals help give you a clear picture of your project and allow for changes to be made before the project starts.
After the design is complete we will help you pick the materials you’d like to be used. That may include paver type, wall block style, kitchen finishes, or plant materials – depending on the type of your project. Once these decisions are made we can provide you an estimate for your project using the materials you’ve selected. Revisions can be made throughout the design process as needed.
The last few steps before beginning work on your project include agreeing on and signing our contract and providing the down payment. These formalities allow us to get you on the schedule, meaning we can give you an approximate start and completion date.
Before we can break ground we will have the utility companies come out to mark where your gas, electric, and fiber are located, and we’ll prepare the work site for construction. Our designers work closely with our installation crews to ensure the work is completed as designed. Once the project is complete, we’ll do a final walkthrough to ensure it’s exactly how you envisioned.
