New Mosquito Elimination Services

We are excited to announce we have acquired The Mosquito Eliminators. They are local Des Moines experts on mosquito control and want to help you enjoy your backyard again. 

In the midwest, there are only a handful of months that we get to spend outdoors. Why waste them due to mosquitoes? We’ve been there — sitting outside on a gorgeous summer night when, OUCH! You get bitten by a mosquito. You’re faced with three options, you can take shelter from the pesky insects in the house, put on bug spray that may or may not work, or call The Mosquito Eliminators by Capital Landscaping to take care of it for you.

We offer both spray and no-spray plans, along with one-off applications and full-season protection. There’s an option for every homeowner, no matter your circumstances. See the full list of services to find out which is right for you. 

How it works

The initial application includes a mosquito audit, where our professional technicians determine the plan that best fits your scenario, then apply the treatment. A couple weeks later, you will be notified of your next service date. Research has shown that 21 days between applications is the optimal time period to keep mosquitoes at bay. A technician will treat your yard and leave a note letting you know they were there. For the follow-up applications, you do no need to be home. 

Is it safe?

The application is safe for children and pets to play on after 30-60 minutes, and will not harm plants. All the products we use are EPA-approved and our technicians are Iowa-certified to apply them.
